We are getting married!

That's right! As of Friday, Jordan and I are engaged! We are getting married December 19, in the Salt Lake temple! So keep that date open! I couldn't be happier! Jordan is the best boyfriend in the entire world, and so cute!
How did he propose?
I had no idea! Not even the slightest clue! Jordan has been home in Georgia for the last month. I went out and visited during te beginning of August, and have now been home for two and a half weeks, without Jordan. Jordan was driving back to Utah with his sister Kaylie, and supposed to get here on Sunday. I had class on Friday and work on Saturday, so not the most exciting weekend, but I couldn't wait till Sunday to see Jordan! Well, Friday morning around 730 I was about to leave to my work meeting, and there was a knock on the door, I answer it, and it was Jordan's sweet friend Dallin, bearing gifts. I asked him why in the world he was up so early! And he said was just bringing me something. I though it was nice, but strange, and he told me just read the card. The card said, "I know you are confused right now, but you are supposed to be. I've been lying to you all week to be sure you would be confused. All you need to know is someone will be here at 2:30 to pick you up and take you to the airport...... I already told your work you won't be there on Saturday. The monkey has the flight info. Have a good flight! I love you, I just couldn't wait till Sunday! Jordan." (The flight was to Long Beach CA)

The cute monkey and card Dallin brought over!

I was still beyond confused all day! When I got home from school, after talking to my parents who played dumb, i decided to see if this flight was real. I looked at Delta, and sure enough, it was a real ticket. I still didn't believe it though. Then I was wondering who was going to pick me up?!?! I had no idea. 2:30 comes along, and Kaylie picks me up! Ok, first off, Jordan is supposed to be on the oppsite end of the country at this point, and he is sending me to California? So on the way to the airport Kaylie pretty much tells me she can't and won't answer any questions I have. And even after looking up my flight info, I was still doubtful I was really going to the airport. Kaylie really takes me to the airport, and tells me to get on my flight, and someone will be there to pick me up in California. So, I do as I am told. On the plane I met this cutest lady from Centerville, and I feel so bad I didn't get her name or email. I told her all that was going on and what I was doing, and our conversation turned straight to marriage! Ha. We talked about me and Jordan, how we met, what I wanted for my wedding, (colors, reception, food, etc.) She was sweet, and couldn't wait to see what happened next. I got off the plane in California, and recieved a call from a girl name Crystal. I didn't know her, but she told me she was coming to pick me up. So my sweet airplane friend never got to hear the end of my story, and now I have no way of telling her! But anyway, Crystal and I take about a 30 minute car ride into Laguna, and she says she is taking me to Moss Point (I am pretty sure that's what the beach was called). She dropped me off and tells me to walk down the stairs and I will just know where to go from there. So, again, I do as I am told, walk down the stairs, look to my right, and see Jordan standing in a cove-like area, covered with flower petals. I run over to him and give him the biggest hug and kiss. I was so excited to see him! For two main reasons: one, I hadn't seen him in what felt like FOREVER! and two, I was pretty sure what was about to happen. (I had been trying to not convince myself from the airport to this point that he was going to propose in case he didn't! Just so I wouldn't be disappointed!) Jordan then says the nicest, sweetest things to me, and gets down on his knee and asks if I would marry him! Of coarse, I say yes!!!!! I was so dang excited! Too excited, that I waited like 5 minutes to put on the ring! A nice couple that was watching this all came over and took some pictures for us. And Jordan then informed me how sad he was, that he had bough a boquet of Tulips (my absolute, favorite flower), that had been washed away by a wave. If you notice in the pictures his wet pants, the wave got him as well. But I didn't care! All I cared was to see him, and be the future Brooke Cushman! Yeah!

Waiting for dinner at our favorite place in California, BJ's Pizza!

Ruby's Diner

The next morning we woke up, and went to breakfast at this place called Ruby's Diner, that I have always wanted to try out everytime we have been in California. Then, we went to the beach for a couple hours before we headed on our 10 hour car ride home. (We are pro's at making that drive) Now, for a side note. I had been wondering how Jordan got all the way from Georgia, to California. Well, lets just say he has alot of love! Jordan and his sister Kaylie left of Wendesday around 1 pm, and drove 30 hours straight, from Georgia to Utah. No stopping, no sleeping! They arrived in Utah on Thursday night, then Jordan woke up Friday morning at 6, and drove 10 hours to California! Then turned back arond Saturday afternoon and drove back home to Utah with me! I love him! And this proves he must feel the same for me!

How Jordan and I met..
Jordan and I met on a rode trip to California over Presidents Day weekend in February. We left I think it was Thursday night, and drove 10 hours to Laguna, where we stayed at Jordan's friend Chris's house. Jordan and I hit it off immediatly, and by the end of that 10 hours, he knew probably all there was to know about me! Which that alone shows alot of love if he stuck around after that! We saw eachother every day after that. I remember telling my parents I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I do when I am with Jordan. I think he is the funniest person I know. (Which is good for him, because know he has someone who will always laugh at his jokes, even when everyone else thinks he is lame!) Jordan and I then again drove to California for my birthday in June, we stayed in Laguna, went to Disneyland, the Beach, and pretty much re-lived our first trip, minus everyone else who had come with us. So Jordan proposing in California, was a significant thing. One of my favorite songs is by Brad Paisly, the one that says "I thought I loved you then" Well, if you listen to it, it now is even more of my favorite songs! It fits me and Jordan well!
Here are some flashbacks of me and Jordan the past 6 1/2 months!
