Fast Food

Since when does Wendy's have macaroni and cheese?

Have you tried it?
Let me know.

And I don't know about you, but take off that chili,
and I am sure those fries would be good!

Eleven Things

The adorable Amanda Bullard tagged me in a post.
I like Amanda, this seemed fun, so I am participating.
:)

1. Post these rules.
2. Post a photo of yourself and 11 random things.
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/facebook and tell them you've tagged them.

I am going to do numbers 1-3.

11 Random Things:
1.  I hate showering.  Don't worry, I do it on a regular basis, but the thought of it stresses me out. It is not so much the showering part, but the part that comes afterwords that I dread, which is the getting ready part, which makes me seriously hate the showering part.
2.  If Jordan isn't home I can't sleep in our bed, I sleep out on the couch.
I get to scared in our room/bed by myself.
3.  The feeling of my knees touching really creeps me out.  I can't stand it. I have to sleep with something between my knees like a pillow.
It's a gross feeling to me to have those knee bones touch!
4.  I worry I am not going to love my kids as much as I love Ben Cook.  I worry I am going to have these nerds as kids, and Ben is going to be the child I never had.  I also worry they won't be as cute as the Cooks kids.
5.  I know way more about celebrities lives than I should.  I find them to be fascinating.  I read eonline multiple times a day, along with other sites.  I share all of my information about these celebrities with Jordan, as if I am friends with them all.
6.  I don't eat Chinese food, not because I don't like it, but instead because I have this fear of it.  I believe if I eat it my face will swell up.  I truly think this will happen to me, while I logically know it is crazy and most likely not true, I still don't eat it. So when I am asked if there is any food I don't like, I say Chinese.
7.  I ask Jordan for a massage on a weekly basis, and he usually gives me one, not willingly, but he does.  And these massages are real, good massages too.  Like I lay on the couch and he gives me a full body, 30-60  minute massage.  I realize this is not a normal thing a husband does, and I love my husband for doing it.
8.  I don't have my ears pierced, and feel like a fool when I look at what I'd look like with earrings on.  The only piece of jewelry I usually wear is my wedding ring.  I do like rings and some bracelets, but when it comes down to buying it for myself, I always think I'd rather buy a shirt or something else instead.
9.  I feel terrible about 6th grade.  We had "try-outs" to be our friend.  We picked a girl, then a week later told her she couldn't hang out with us anymore.  I did apologize in 7th grade to her that my friends and I were not the nicest, but I still feel bad about that to this very day.
We also pretended we were the Spice girls.  I was Scary.
10.  The Nintendo (and by nintendo I am referring to all gaming devices) stresses me out a lot and gives me a bit of anxiety.  My kids are going to feel deprived because I say we will never own one.  No wii, no kinect, nothing.
11.  When I was younger nobody could eat a Wendy's cheeseburger faster than me.  My sisters would always try, and never beat me.

Amanda's Questions:
1. What is your idea of a perfect date?  I love going out to eat, so that first, then Jordan would take me shopping and let me buy whatever I wanted, then maybe a campfire on the beach would be magical.
2. If you had to pick one thing to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?  Chips and Salsa.  I eat that on a daily basis.  French fries and ketchup too.
3. If you could be any celebrity who would it be?  I think Jessica Alba is beautiful so maybe her, but Jenna Dewan is married to Channing Tatum, so tough call. Also, I think Kendall and Kylie Jenner seem to have a pretty fun life too.
4. What is your favorite memory from high school?  Oh boy, lets see. . . . I loved my teachers and administration.  I spent the first week of my Senior year in Mr. Zauggs office, and most days in Coach Fesslers.  Mr. Timothy was wonderful to me too.  I also loved my classes with Emily senior year.  And I also have some of the funniest memories cheerleading when I start to think about it.
5. What would you do with $5000, if you had to spend it all in one day?  Fly Jordan and I to Europe somewhere.  I really hope to go there at some point.  We'd shop, eat delicious food, and see amazing things.
6. What is your favorite scent? (perfume, candle, shampoo etc.)  I love the smell of cleaning supplies.  Like after you have cleaned the bathroom, and you walk in and it smells fresh and clean, I love that!
7. If you could change your name, what would you change it to?  I can't picture me as anything but Brooke.  I think Brooklyn is cute, and once pretended that was my name.  But I like my name, it's weird to think of changing it.
8. What is your favorite day of the week? And why?  I love Saturday's for obvious reasons of having the entire day with me and Jordan, but I also love Friday nights.  We usually stay home and watch Shark Tank, What Would You Do, 20/20, and Dateline.  I love it.
9. Chocolate or fruity candy?  Fruity candy 100 times out of 100!
10. What is your favorite restaurant?  I love food way too much.  I love El Matador, am craving Cafe Rio at the moment, I love this place called Nic and Jim's in Georgia, and have been thinking about this Pizza place in San Francisco since we went there like 6 months ago . . . I could go on and on.
11. What is your favorite accessory and why?  My purse.  I take it everywhere, and try to fit my entire life in there.  I feel weird without it next to me.

. . . and that is the weirdness that is me!
Thanks Amanda for tagging me, this was fun!

License To Drive

Last week Jordan and I went to the DMV to get our California Drivers License.

We knew we were going to have to take a test, and I was a bit nervous.

We could miss 6 questions, out of like 50.
When taking the test I thought there was no way.

But somehow I passed!  Missing 6 to be exact!

Hallelujah!

So, this is us, now residents of California.
Sweet.

For Sale

Once upon a time I was engaged.

Sadly (then), but very gratefully now, it didn't work out,
and we didn't get married.

3(ish) years later, I meet Jordan.
We fall in love, get married, and
are very happy.

Well, now I am left with a wedding dress from what
we refer to as my 1st marriage.

It has never been worn, and is beautiful.

I need to sale it.

So if you know of anyone on the look out for a
wedding dress,

I have one.
(And it is a pretty good deal too.)

For pictures and description,
go here.

Please buy it from me.

Hair

I think that Emma Watson is adorable.

I wish that I could pull off this hair.
So much time would be saved.
(Sadly, I can't pull it off, and I would probably cry everyday if I tried)
She is adorable.
I also wish for this hair.
She always seems to be so flawless.
Give me maybe 5 years, and my hair will grow!
(sigh. . . )

Ketchup

I LOVE ketchup.
I think it is the ultimate condiment.
Those of you who know me well, know I love ketchup!

Well, I love Ketchup, but hate ketchup packets.
I find them very annoying.
They are annoying to open, and hold way too little amount of Ketchup.

Jordan and I were at Chick-fil-A one day, an I was telling him this annoyance.
That I wished they had Ketchup in the little sauce containers that Chick-fil-A has.

Well. . . . today I went to Chick-fil-A for lunch, and what do I find . . . .
Ketchup containers!

No more lame packets!!!!!

I was beyond thrilled!
Lets just say it was a great day.

Heartbreak.

Last weekend, Jordan and I went down to Atlanta with Ryan and Brittney.
Well, on our way to their apartment, Jordan and I were having a random conversation, about nothing in particular. A bunch of non sense is what it was.
The previous night we had seen Charlie St Cloud, and Jordan said if he died that I would do the same as Charlie, and never be able to leave Georgia. I told him I'd have to leave, because I would have to fly his body back to West Point to be burried.
Rewinding a bit, Jordan and I for some reason talk about where we will be burried more often than we should. His family all say they have never even thought of discussing that, and find it strange. Well, I asked Jordan if he had a preference, and he said no ,and I told him good! Because he is being buried in West Point next to me! There is really no other option for him.
Back to Saturday though. So on our way the Ryan and Brittney's, I told him he either has the option to live in West Point for life, or be buried there. Somehow we got to talking about life if the other person died. He told me he hoped I'd get re married. I said I hoped that for him too. He looked at me and said, "You do not, I know it." I paused, then told him, I know! I told him the thought of him having those same loving feelings for someone else breaks my heart! And what happened next, I started crying telling him this! He was cracking up, and I was crying! Really, the thought that if I died, and he had the same feelings for another girl that he does for me? I'd be crushed! He found this real funny, and couldn't believe that it brought enough emotion to me to cry about!
(It may have been a little funny)

I love days off....

I really enjoy going to movies, even if it is alone. I used to LOVE movies by myself, now that I have sweet Jordan, I'd prefer going with him, but still don't mind going by myself. Well, I haven't done that for a while, so today I decided I had the day off and was going to go to this movie.....

I loved it! I told Jordan He WILL go see it with me. I knew I would though. So that, and buying a new Easter dress, made for a great day!

Also, I read this quote from the talk by Joseph B Wirthin, "Come What May and Love it", that I really quite enjoyed....
"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss........ the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude."

I told Jordan last night that I am going to do my best to remain faithful, because if that is the case I am going to be one happy girl come that day!.... and that see, it is ok for me to cry! Poor Jordan. I love you, thanks for listening to me cry, I am sure you'll be blessed for being so darn patient with me!

I love the weekends.....

So sense me and Jordan got back from our honeymoon, life has been a little busy.... Jordan, being the hard worker he is usually has something going on from 9 am, till 9 pm (on a good day). My schedule, isn't as crazy, but still, it leaves me and Jordan with not much time together, cause even when he gets home he is doing home work, or intern stuff. I love him, and he is the GREATEST husband ever, and I know all of this him being so busy will pay off. That is one of the many reasons I love him, he is such a hard worker, and drive for success. It is sad though not seeing him maybe as much as I would like. It makes me so excited when the weekend comes and things calm down a little bit.
Two weekends ago we went to the Cook family cabin, which was so fun! All of the family got to go up, I loved it!
This last weekend we went up and met Jordan's sister Kaylie and her boyfriend for lunch, then stayed at my parents Saturday night. Sunday we went to Jordan's friends cabin in Park City to watch the Super Bowl, and let me tell you, this cabin was unbelievable. My pictures do not do it justice, it was the biggest home I had ever been to!
I am now counting down the days till this weekend, it can not come soon enough!
The Cabin in Park City
The theator room

Dining Room
Hot chocolate station
I absolutly LOVED the weekend away at the Cooks! We went sledding, ate lots of good food, and relaxed! I don't think anything could be better than a weeked like this was.

Emily the eskimo and Colton
I want to go back...
Blake and Shalee
My camera goes in black and white sometimes, but this is my mother, she was a great sledder!
Benjamin
My sweet father, me and Erin
:) I love him
Me and Jordan's turn to make lunch!
So I am anti nintendo, and two hours of this just reassured me that we will not be getting a nintendo any time soon.
This face is another reason to love him...

My cute family. What a joyas bunch!

This always seems to happen....

I am considering becoming a locksmith...... Today I locked my keys in my car, which I do all to often. I usually call the police, but this time I locked my phone in too, and the gas station lady called the locksmith for me. The locksmith gave me a 4 dollar discount for being a student, and charged me 6 additional dollars to run my debit card. How generous. Good thing my lovley husband says tonight we can go to Coldstone, that solves everything!

On a different note... This weekend we are going to the Cook Cabin. No school, no work, no computers, and no place else to go equals me being REALLY excited!
Also, he will be there! I can't wait!

LOVE.......

A preview of my life to come......

So, as I posted before, I was worried about my engagement pictures turning out, luckily I ended up quite liking them, so here is a preview of just a few!.......

Next stress, bridals, yikes!?!?!?!

On a different note, I am trying to sell my contract at my current apartment, it is a way nice place if anybody knows someone moving down to the orem area. So check out ourcondoatmilano.blogspot for pictures and more information! And seriously, if anybody knows of someone, it would be a MAJOR help and destressor for me!
.............I almost forgot, so I work at an America First inside of a Harmons and they are having a reGrand opening there because they re did all of the inside of Harmons... Anyways, they give away prizes on Saturdays sometimes, they'll say "customer checking out in lane 6 has won....... something". Well, after work Saturday afternoon I was checking out, and I won! I told the checker this was the greatest day ever! And this is a picture of my prize! A remote control cooler! (along with a 12 pack of coke!) Can you say greatest day ever!?!?! (Maybe a little over exaggeration, but I was VERY excited about it.)

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

So I don't have any pictures of the last little while, but the need to post.

First off, we went four wheeling, and Jordan had his first four wheeling experiance! It was so much fun! Matt and Erin took us to Morgan to Matt's families land, and luckily the weather was very nice that day! It ended being quite the adventure when poor Benjamin got locked in the car. We got him out after an hour or so, and it was so sad watching him cry stuck in that car, and we could do nothing but wait for the locksmith! I love him, and miss him.

Second, me and Jordan got our engagement pictures taken, and I am more than nervous to get them back today!!! So pray they turn out! Amy our photographer always does a great job, but that doesn't mean I always look great! Ah! Say a prayer.

Third, officially two months minus 2 days till Jordan and I get married, and can I jut say I have never been more excited about something my entire life. Sometimes on my days off whe no one else is around, I have alot of time to think. Sometimes it is good, and sometimes I just stress myself right out! (my family and Jordan know this, they have recieved many crying calls!) But I have been thinking, and I love Jordan. Not that I didn't know that already, but I just love him. He is exactally what I want and need. He makes me happier than I knew I could be, and is so patient with my nonsense. I have never been happier, EVER!... I am usually a person who likes things planned out. With Jordan though, things aren't as planned out. I know what the next two or three years will be like going to school, but after that, I don't know what the future is going to take us. If I let it, that thought can scare me. But I know that I'll be with Jordan, wherever we go, and that we will be happy. I can't wait to begin our life adventures together! We are going to have such a fun time being a little family. On that note, Jordan keeps telling me I need to go see the doctor so we don't have a little family anytime soon! Shucks.

Forth, Nightmare on 13th Street. May give you nightmares. I am not a fan of scary things, and this was over the top. But it was a very fun night, and fun adventure with Jordan's friends!

I am going to stop counting, but now I would like to thank Jordan for changing my tire this morning. I was finding it pretty amusing, but I don't think Jordan found it as fun. He wasn't expecting an 8 am call to come change my tire, but he did it anyway. After about an hour and a half, we figured it out and got it changed! Thanks!

And one last thing, thanks to my dad, Jordan, and now Blake as well for being on the listening end of quite a few emotional outbursts lately. I don't know why I am so dang emotional and cry so much, but thanks for not thinking I have completly lost my mind, or atleast not telling me that you think I have! In Ryan's words, I am a BeeLee.

Oh, also, we booked our Honeymoon, and I can't even wait!!!!
