friends and the fair

We went to the Santa Clara County fair with our friends the Eddy's this past weekend.
I am not a animal lover, and farm animals sure smell, but anything tiny wins me over and those pigs were the cutest.

Nothing beats a summer night at the fair!

Baby Birthdays

Our friends the Moores and Bryan's had a birthday party for their babies.
Baby birthday's are the best.
 Happy birthday Avery and Adam!

when friends come to town

Dinner in San Francisco this weekend with Chris Keneipp.
Chris is one of Jordan's roommates from BYU.  I love Jordan's college friends, and love when we get to see any of them!  So we were happy to have Chris in town.
(And these little fortunes on your parking stall I found to be one of the most adorable things I've ever seen in San Francisco.)

Happy Weekend.

Weekend Recap.

I am so happy to have some friends around here these days!
Our friends the Jewkes were in town from Santa Monica this weekend,
and also Jordan's BFF Dallin and his wife Kayla moved here from San Diego.
On Friday we all met up for dinner in San Francisco.

Can I tell you, San Francisco is one interesting city.
While we were down there, there was some kind of bicycle event going on,
and lots of these bicyclists were nude.
Men, women, fully nude, and fully disgusting.

But dinner was great.
We went to Sodini's, and it was really tasty.

Jordan's friends all married the prettiest and nicest girls.
They lucked out.

On Saturday we spent the day at the pool, and enjoyed the perfect weather.
Then met up with the Pitcher's later that night for a movie and dinner.
I love the Pitchers, and think they are one of the cutest couples I know.
And their baby Capri is so sweet!

I've always told Jordan I didn't need friends,  because I
have always had my family around to hang out with.
But I am so grateful to have friends out here now, and I hope none of them move away!

The Pitcher's

One of the cutest couples ever just moved to our town.
Marianne and I went to high school together, and her husband Landon
was a "Davis boy". They also just had the sweetest baby, Capri.
The Pitchers have been exploring the world.  They just moved from Arizona,
and before that were in Prague. (*jealous)

They are adorable, and I am so happy to have some familiar people around.
We went over for dinner on Friday, it was so fun to catch up.
It is going to be nice to have some good friends around here.

Marianne was the best host and made us such a good dinner,
while Landon did a excellent job grilling.

I am glad it is finally getting warm enough for some barbequing,
I sure hope this warm weather lasts!

Thank you Pitcher's for a such a fun weekend.

Before we cruised.

Before we left for our cruise, we spend a night in LA with some of our friends from BYU,
the Jewkes and the Turnbulls.
The Jewkes live in LA, and the Turnbulls near Malibu.
I love both of these couples so much, and it was so fun to see them both again!

Jordan and I spent the day at Rodeo Drive where I dragged him around looking for a celebrity,
went to the Walk of Stars, then later met up with our friends
for dinner and shopping.
This is Jordan's celebrity he saw, an announcer for ESPN.
And then at the Walk of stars Damain, (The Irish one) from Glee was there.
Every time we go with the Turnbulls I tell Jordan that I think Sarah Turnbull is the prettiest girl I have ever seen.  I really can't get enough of these two couples!
The Turnbulls on the left, Jewkes on the right.

I loved it here in LA.
Southern California is definitely one of my favorites.
I hope we can go visit again soon!
