ONE YEAR!
The sweet husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary in the 18th!
We decided to go to Las Vegas for a few nights, and it was SOOO much fun!
I wish we were still there!
The Naylors (the Cushman's family friends) are always so nice to let us stay at their house for two of the nights we were there!
We got to Vegas Thursday night, then Friday the fun began!
We first went to the outlets, which who doesn't love it there!
It rained.
The Naylors informed us it was the coldest day of the year that day, and probably the first time it rained as well. We managed to still have fun!
After our shopping, we went back and got ready for . . . .
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!
Oh boy was I excited!
We had dinner at one of my absolute favorite places.
If you haven't tried it, you are missing out! Head to Vegas and give it a try!
(Or try our favorite spot, California! It is to die for!)
Jordan loves the pazzoki(?) there!
I must say I love it too!
Next. . . . Phantom!
I loved EVERYTHING about it!
It is a must see for everybody! I hope to go see it again!
So we were staying with the Naylors, right?.
Well, did I mention the Naylor's know everyone?
Terry (the dad) informs us that he and the Phantom are friends, he calls him up, and next thing we know, we have backstage passes to Phantom!
Here is the Phantom!
(he had just got all cleaned up, and was sporting that stylish robe when we met him)
He was way good, along with the rest of the cast!
The Masquerade
It was a fantastic night, which led into another fantastic day!
Saturday, our actual anniversary, we stayed at the Luxor.
We had lunch at the most divine chicken place, calle "Cane's Chicken".
It was way good!
(sometimes Jordan and I like to think we are fancy, or imagine what it would be like to eat at these high class resturaunts, but really, our favorite is to put on our basketball shorts, and get some good 'ol chicken and fries. Nothing else could beat that!)
Then we rested up for the night ahead of us!
We walked the 2 miles of the strip and made our way to Caesars Palace!
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory. . .
Then did some more shopping . . . .
. . . . .wished I could buy just about everything in here . . . . .
Toured some fancy hotels. . . . .
Toured some fancy hotels. . . . .
and eventually made our way back!
We were beat!
It was so much fun, and I couldn't have had a more fun weekend!
This has been the greatest year! Jordan is the greatest husband, more than I could ever ask for! He puts up with my non-sense, and is always so sweet to me!
I asked him the other day how he felt knowing there was no end to me and him, and if he knew what he signed up for the day we got married, that we are going to be together for ever and ever and for ALL eternity.
He smiled, and said he knew.
I can't wait! We are going to have the best life together ever!
(now it is as if you spend the entire trip with us, enjoy.)
What a fun way to spend your first anniversary!! You guys are a darling couple!
