Bateman Award

History of the Bateman Awards

The Merrill J Bateman Outstanding Student Award is given annually

to one undergraduate student, one graduate student, and one

student orginization/club in recognition of their support to the

Marriott School, service to the community, participation

in networking, and professional development.

The Merrill J Bateman Awards are the only school-wide

awards selected entirely by students.

Jordan, along with 4 other undergraduate students

(including his bff Dallin Bills)

were nominated for the Bateman Awards.

Jordan felt very honored to be nominated, and Thursday, we

attended the Bateman Awards presentation.

Jordan did not win, but was honored to be recognized

for his work the last few years in the Marriott School.

(If only I could have voted!  Jordan has worked soooo hard,

and it is nice to see all of that hard work paying off!)
