Florianopolis was one of the prettiest places I have ever been. I am not sure what I expected it to be like, but not this. Jordan and I are both dreaming of the day when we can go back.
We weren't sure whether to stay in the center of the city, or more north, at Jurere Beach. So, we chose both.
Our first two days were spent at Jurere Beach, it was heaven. I loved the mountains, beach, hills, and how green it was here in Florianopolis. I've never been to a place quite like it.
{ham and cheese croissant and cheese bread = heaven}
Jordan's friend who he works with when in Brazil, Antonio, was so nice to pick us up from the airport in Florianopolis. Our second day there, he and his wife picked us up from our hotel in Jurere and took us to dinner in the Center of the city, where we stayed our last two nights in Florianopolis.
I am not sure if I loved Florianopolis so much because I was now spending my days with Jordan, or if it were really that beautiful. Probably a combination of both.
That looks so nice! I wonder that same thing about Ireland, & I think the main reason I loved it & had so much fun is because we got to spend so much time together. I'm glad you guys got to do this! I'm still jealous.
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me. I've never been there, but I've already chosen it as the place I want to live. In fact, I posted this back in 2008: http://mollyauf.blogspot.com/2008/11/if-i-disappear.html
ReplyDeleteSome day. Some day.
